Access to clean water is not only a matter of survival in South Sudan—it is the foundationfor education, health, and economic growth. Through our partnership with AMPAC USA,we are turning an urgent crisis into an opportunity for transformation. Our immediateaction begins with deploying state-of-the-art mobile purification systems in Akobo,ensuring that schools, hospitals, and families no longer suffer from preventablewaterborne diseases. But this is only the beginning. Together, we are laying thegroundwork for a water infrastructure system that will one day serve as the backbone ofAkobo’s—and ultimately South Sudan’s—development: solar-powered treatment plants,community-managed distribution networks, and training programs that empower localengineers and leaders. This is a bold but practical vision—meeting today’s crisis withswift solutions, while building a legacy of resilience and sustainability for generationsto come.
Action Framing (aligned with Vision 2050)
- Phase 1 – Emergency Access: Deploy mobile water purification systems to meet urgentneeds in schools, health centers, and community hubs.
- Phase 2 – Transitional Infrastructure: Establish semi-permanent purification sites andcommunity kiosks, training local operators and building early management capacity.
- Phase 3 – The Vision 2050 Water Network: Develop permanent, large-scale waterinfrastructure powered by renewable energy, integrated into Akobo’s long-termdevelopment framework—ensuring that clean water becomes a cornerstone ofeducation, health, and economic empowerment for decades ahead.

TWIN (NYADIT) ACADEMY
The Twin (Nyadit) Academy will provide quality education and skills development opportunities for children and youth in Akobo, helping to build a foundation for future leadership and community advancement.
WALK TOWARD THE RISING SUN HOSPITAL
The Walk Toward the Rising Sun Hospital aims to improve access to essential healthcare services, delivering medical treatment, maternal care, and health education to communities in Akobo and surrounding areas.
WOMEN FARMERS
The Women Farmers initiative will empower women through agricultural training, resources, and cooperative support to increase food production, household income, and economic independence.
WATER RESOURCE
The Water Resource project focuses on developing reliable and sustainable water access systems to ensure clean drinking water and support agricultural and community needs.
LOCAL FISHING
The Local Fishing initiative seeks to strengthen food security and livelihoods by supporting sustainable fishing practices, equipment access, and local fish market development.
RENEWABLE POWER
The Renewable Power project will introduce sustainable energy solutions such as solar and other clean technologies to provide reliable electricity for homes, schools, and community facilities.
DIGITAL CONNECTIVITY DATA CENTER
The Digital Connectivity Data Center will establish critical digital infrastructure to improve internet access, enable communication, and support technology-driven services in the region.
ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE
The Artificial Intelligence initiative will explore the use of AI-driven tools to enhance education, agriculture, healthcare, and data management for smarter community development.
SUSTAINABLE FARMING
The Sustainable Farming program promotes environmentally responsible agricultural practices that increase productivity while preserving soil health and long-term food security.
WASTE WATER MANAGEMENT
The Waste Water Management project aims to implement systems that safely treat and reuse wastewater, improving sanitation, environmental protection, and public health.
CATTLE RANCHING
The Cattle Ranching initiative will support structured livestock management and grazing practices to strengthen pastoral livelihoods and improve meat and dairy production.
